Job Preparation & Development Planning
BSC helps individuals prepare for a successful job search by developing an individualized plan based on their employment goals, strengths, interests, and support needs. Services may include resume and cover-letter development, interview preparation, application assistance, identifying employment goals, and developing a strategy for the job search.
Job Development & Hire
BSC provides hands-on assistance throughout the job search, including identifying employment opportunities, connecting with employers, completing applications, preparing for interviews, following up with employers, and supporting the transition into a new job.Our goal isn't simply to help someone find a job. We focus on finding employment that provides the individual with the best opportunity for long-term success.
Job Retention
Support doesn't end when someone gets hired. BSC provides ongoing assistance during the early stages of employment to help individuals successfully adjust to their new workplace.Support may include regular check-ins, workplace problem-solving, communication support, employer coordination when appropriate, identifying natural workplace supports, and addressing barriers that could affect employment.The goal is stable employment, increasing independence, and long-term success on the job.
Community Exploration
BSC provides individualized Community Exploration services designed to help people discover interests, build relationships, increase independence, and become more connected to their communities.We work with each person to understand their interests, strengths, goals, and support needs. Community Exploration focuses on choice, meaningful experiences, community connection, and greater independence.
Exploring Interests & Opportunities
BSC helps individuals discover activities, resources, and opportunities available in their communities. Exploration is based on the person's interests and may include recreation, hobbies, educational opportunities, community events, clubs, groups, and other meaningful activities.The goal is to help each person identify what they enjoy, what is meaningful to them, and where they would like to become more involved.
Building Community Connections
BSC supports individuals in developing meaningful connections within their communities. This may include exploring social opportunities, community organizations, volunteer opportunities, recreational programs, and other ways to meet people and participate in community life.The focus is on helping individuals develop lasting connections and natural community supports.
Developing Independence
Community Exploration can provide opportunities to develop practical skills and greater confidence navigating the community.Depending on the individual's goals, support may include learning how to access community resources, planning activities, making choices, communicating with others, navigating community environments, and developing routines that support greater independence.
Meaningful Community Participation
The goal of Community Exploration is to help each person identify opportunities that are personally meaningful, sustainable, and connected to their goals.Over time, BSC aims to help individuals build greater confidence, relationships, independence, and a stronger sense of belonging within their community.

Busch Services & Consulting (BSC) was founded by Matthew Busch with a simple goal: to provide practical, individualized services and solutions that create meaningful outcomes.Matthew brings more than 10 years of experience working with individuals, employers, community partners, and Wisconsin's vocational rehabilitation system. He has also served in a leadership role with the Wisconsin Rehabilitation Council.BSC is built around the belief that good service starts with listening, building strong relationships, understanding the goal, and following through.Whether BSC is helping someone pursue employment, become more connected to their community, or helping an organization improve its results, the approach remains the same: keep it personal, practical, and focused on meaningful outcomes.
